After months of work, we're very excited to announce new equipment to the Lens Lenders rental catalogue. New zooms and new primes have been added, including the Nikon 24-70mm f/2.8, 45mm f/2.8 TS-E, 85mm f/1.4, Canon 50mm f/1.2 and 85mm f/1.2. Our first supertelephoto - the Canon 300mm f/2.8 IS - is now available to rent. The magnificent Canon 400mm f/2.8 IS has just arrived to us and will be available to rent in the days ahead. We'll also soon be adding our first camera body rental to the catalogue; the incredible Canon 5D Mark II. The Nikon 300mm f/2.8 and 200-400mm f/4 will arrive in the future. Finally, we've added Olympus to our catalogue with the two most requested Olympus lenses; the Zuiko 14-35mm f/2 and 35-100mm f/2.
This marks a huge step forward for Lens Lenders, a result of reading every lens suggestion e-mail we have received, providing the best service we can to every unique customer and carefully balancing analysis with action in our growth plans. If you've rented from Lens Lenders before, we hope you'll post a link to our website on your favourite message board to tell others about your experience. If you're yet to be a customer, we hope this exciting announcement of new gear will be what you need to try renting a lens for yourself.
Improvements have been made to the Lens Lenders reservation system to allow customers greater choices in the rental periods they can choose. Previously, customers could only select weekend rentals or Friday to Friday rental periods. Customized rental periods were possible, but required writing or calling to make arrangements. Now customers can select rental periods of any start and end date, with some logical restrictions. Weekend reservations are still available. In addition, the Lens Lenders website can now inform customers if a lens is available for the period they requested when they click the "Check Availability" button.
Lens Lenders is pleased to announce that we have received new financing to purchase more lenses. This will allow us to increase the number of lenses in our inventory and add new lenses to our catalogue to serve the many requests that we receive. We are working on our new inventory plan and welcome you to be a part of it by sending a lens request through this form. Suggestions from photographers like you will help to ensure we meet as many of our customers needs as possible.
Lens Lenders has been accepted as a member into the Canadian Rental Association. We are pleased to have been accepted into this group of over 7,500 rental businesses acrosss Canada. Membership in the Canadian Rental Association will bring new benefits to Lens Lenders and allow us to provide even better lens rental service to customers.
