Colour accuracy is a challenge for all photographers. When working with digital files, what appears on one computer display may not be the same as appears on another display. Worse, the settings of the display where you do your photo editing computer may be wrong, resulting in your editing work and time being wasted.

Using a display calibrator allows you to adjust your display to perfect settings so you can be confident in your editing work. The calibrator connects to your computer through a USB port and works on flatscreen, CRT, laptop and projector displays. Calibrating displays is important for photographers who use different computers - such as a laptop and desktop - or who use multiple displays at once. Calibrating all these displays will ensure that images look the same where ever you view them.

The process takes about five minutes while the calibrator is rested on the display. Some fine-tuning is sometimes desired, especially when calibrating multiple displays. A one week rental is usually suffient time to adjust each display, try the results and fine tune the calibration if necessary.
